International Sand Sculpture Festival 2024, you will encounter lifelike sand sculpture models of mythical creatures from Pattaya, located at Avenue A.

  1. Kabil Paksa (Gibbon with Wings): A forest-dwelling creature with the body of a gibbon, black in color, featuring bird-like tail and wings sprouting from its shoulders. It is depicted holding fruits such as mangoes and rose apples.

  2. Kunchorn Wari (Elephant-fish Hybrid): This creature has the head and body of an elephant but fins and tail resembling a fish. It dwells in water and exhibits excellent swimming and diving abilities.

  3. Kinree (Bird-human Hybrid): With a human torso and a bird's lower body, Kinree has wings for flying. Kinree females serve as attendants to the sun god, while Kinree males serve the moon god.

  4. Katchasee (Elephant-lion Hybrid): Combining features of both elephants and lions, Katchasee has the head and trunk of an elephant but the body, legs, and tail of a lion. It symbolizes bravery and courage.

  5. Kilen Peek (Winged Horse): Resembling a horse with scales like a fish, a horn, and wings like a bird, Kilen Peek is a mythical creature believed to bring good luck to those who encounter it.
